Searching for an animal, applying, posting a listing, managing your applications: all of this is free and will remain so. Two things are paid, the “Featured” placement and the social media boost, and neither is on sale yet.

The “Featured” placement

Social media boost

An advertising service outside the site: Patte Blanche itself prepares and publishes each message on its own accounts to promote a listing, for the duration of the chosen tier. The listing’s position on Patte Blanche does not change. Only listings whose organisation has allowed sharing on the Patte Blanche accounts can be boosted.

Right of withdrawal

A boost bought from a family account opens a fourteen-day right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code, art. L221-18). The boost starts as soon as you pay, at your express request: a withdrawal is refunded pro rata to the promotion time remaining, and the right is lost if the boost has been fully carried out within that period (art. L221-28 1°). An order placed from an organisation account does not open this right.

What can never be bought

• A “recommended” badge on a listing or an organisation: there is none.
• A family’s contact details before you have chosen them.
• The order of applications: it is the order of arrival, for everyone.
• Early access to animals for families.
• Holding your funds: Patte Blanche never holds a third party’s money.
• A place for a listing that a family’s answers rule out.
